This replaces the rectangular face plate on a Medeco bolt of any length. The sleeved adapter is attached with a set screw (included). This is not a complete bolt. Installation requires an accurate 1-1/8 hole drilled into the edge (or nose) of the door. The bolt is then held in place with moderate compression. Available in dull chrome only.

Installation of the adapter requires removal of the rectangular face plate by using a small flat blade screwdriver to pry the pieces apart and away from the main bolt mechanism.
